Openings and closings: Charlie -n- Diamond opens, Cremcaffe closes … and more

In the East Village, Winebar is taking over the Cremcaffe space directly next door to it for a new expansion project on Second Avenue between 3rd and 4th streets.
Signage was spotted at the soon-to-be Tim Hortons spot at 34 Union Square East.
In the West Village, Beard Papa’s on Sixth Avenue and Carmine Street is closed for maintenance.
In Midtown, the annual Holiday Shops have opened in Columbus Circle.
In Brooklyn, a tanning salon may open at 317 Smith Street near the corner of President Street in the former Armando Tailor and Dry Cleaner in Carroll Gardens. Nunu Chocolate has opened a wine bar in its flagship location at 529 Atlantic Avenue between Third and Fourth avenues. Gift and clothing store Charlie -n- Diamond is open at 105 Atlantic Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant. In Fort Greene, a new beauty parlor is slated to open at 672 Fulton Street between South Elliott Place and South Portland Avenue.
Amid these openings, some stores have shuttered — or at least temporarily closed.
In Tribeca, Pig & Whistle has temporarily closed at 165 West 47th Street. Clothing retailer Napapijri at 149 Mercer Street in Soho is shutting down for good.
Clothing retailer Krizia will be relocating to the Meatpacking District from Madison Avenue.
In Midtown, Mangia Café at 50 West 57th Street filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. Papa Perrone pizza truck, also in Midtown on 55th Street between Madison and Park avenues, will be temporarily closed after a fire.
In Harlem, Floridita Tapas, at the intersection of Broadway and West 125th Street, will be closing within two months.
In Brooklyn, Clinton Hill eatery Sapolo has closed at 501 Myrtle Avenue, but rumors abound that the spot may reopen soon. McGuinness Irish Gift Shop, a family operated business at 3609 Avenue S is planning to close its doors after 23 years in Gerritsen Beach.
