The priciest Manhattan home to hit the market this week is a 10-bedroom townhouse at 1016 Madison Avenue on the Upper East Side, according to Streeteasy.com. The 12,000-square-foot home is on the market for $72 million and is listed by Michael Pellegrino of Sotheby’s International Realty. The turn-of-the-century home is currently being used as an art gallery by noted antique, book and maps dealer W. Graham Arader.

The second most expensive home to come online is a seven-bedroom, six-bathroom townhouse on the Upper East Side at 106 East 71st Street. The home, listed for $28.8 million, is being marketed by Carrie Chiang and Loy Carlos of the Corcoran Group.

The third priciest home is a four-bedroom, four-bathroom co-op at 2 East 88th Street, listed for $17.5 million. Sharon Baum of the Corcoran Group has the listing.
