Yahoo exec battles over Hamptons property

Former Yahoo CEO Terry Semel has been battling in court with his East Hamptons neighbors over a small second building he built on his eight-acre property on Further Lane, the East Hampton Star reported. Jonathan and Peter Sobel, a pair of brothers, are accusing Semel of trying to avoid zoning issues by having both buildings on the property. Instead of dying down, the four-year-old issue has become “World War III,” Semel told the East Hampton Town Zoning Board of Appeals last week.
