A rental unit at 349 Metropolitan Avenue
A condominium at 349 Metropolitan Avenue in Williamsburg had a rough start last year after a group of vandals defiled the Jerusalem Gold Stone facade of the then-stalled 42-unit project. But the building — designed by Gary H. Silver Architects — has now been revitalized, according to Curbed. After stripping off and renovating its exterior, it is officially back on the market, this time as a rental. Prices range from $1,595 a month to $4,550 a month for studios through three-bedrooms. Leases have been signed for 36 apartments, the building’s owner told Curbed. One unique feature of the building is its robot courtyard mural, designed by Brooklyn artist R. Nicholas Kuszyk [Curbed]
