After the second price cut on their small screen-worthy 400 West Street townhouse, the Novogratz clan, of Bravo’s “9 By Design” fame, has brought in Paula Del Nunzio of Brown Harris Stevens to share the exclusive $18.95 million listing with Prudential Douglas Elliman broker Raphael De Niro.
Robert and Cortney Novogratz’s 22-foot-wide home has been sitting on the market since last June, when a pair of other Brown Harris Stevens power brokers, Wendy Maitland and Susan Green, put it up for sale for $25 million. Maitland made a cameo on the designers’ reality show during the listing process, but by the time the show aired in the spring, the marketing of the five-bedroom property had already been transferred to the care of De Niro, who chopped the price to $19.95 million in January and then to $18.95 million last week.
But all was not lost, as Maitland and Green held on to another coveted listing with the Novogratz Sixx Design stamp of approval. That listing, the five-story townhouse at 5 Centre Market Street in Little Italy, notable not just for its $12.95 million price tag but also for its domed, rooftop basketball court, has just found a buyer, Curbed reported. According to Streeteasy.com, the home went into contract this weekend.
The Novogratzes were not immediately available for comment, nor was the litany of brokers involved with their properties.
