The Kimpton line of hotels is planning a major New York City expansion, according to Hotel Chatter, with 10 new hotels on the docket. The brand has four outposts in the area, including Ink48 on the corner of 48th Street and 11th Avenue and the Eventi On Sixth Avenue between 30th and 31st streets. Although Kimpton did not provide specifics about its planned hotels, it did say that it’s targeting Chelsea, Tribeca and the Meatpacking District, in particular. [Hotel Chatter]
