Soho condo sues celeb photographer

Renowned celebrity photographer Ken Nahoum is being sued by the board of the condominium building in which he lives, at 95 Greene Street in Soho, who claim he and his companion, Victoria Secret model Basia Milewicz, owe $40,000 in common charges. According to the New York Times, Nahoum and Milewicz first moved into the building in 1999 when they purchased a 1,231-square-foot penthouse for $1.4 million. Over the next four years the couple purchased three more penthouse units in the condo. Owners of nearly one-fifth of the building’s interest, Nahoum and Milewicz have forced the condo’s remaining residents to foot the bill they’ve foregone. But the lawsuit appears to be just one of the couple’s problems. They failed to sell the three units he consolidated into a 12-room penthouse for $25 million, and were unable to find a buyer for the fourth penthouse, first listed for $3.95 million by the Corcoran Group in 2008, and then for $2.75 by Brown Harris Stevens in 2009. Later that year JPMorgan Chase began foreclosure proceedings on the properties, and soon after, Nahoum and Milewicz ceased to pay the common charges. Neighbors, who find the pair on TV in some of the most expensive seats at Knicks games, are upset that they have to bear the burden of Nahoum and Milewicz non-existent payments.
