Comedian-actor Richard Belzer, of “Law & Order” fame, is downsizing on the Upper West Side. Belzer, who has been spending most of his time living with his wife in a villa in the south of France in recent years, is trying to sell his four-bedroom co-op at 60 Riverside Drive. After a recent, 9 percent cut from the apartment’s original $3.195 million price tag, he is now asking $2.9 million for the combination spread, which has views of the Hudson River that he told New York Magazine are “sheer visual poetry.” Belzer, who has been an Upper West Side resident since the 1970s, is now looking for a smaller apartment in the building to keep as a pied-a-terre. “When people think of New York, they think of traffic and buildings,” Belzer said. “This apartment is more idyllic.” Harry Kendrick and Arthur Korant of Prudential Douglas Elliman have the listing.
