SL Green leases 25,000 feet at Plaza District tower

SL Green Realty leased out 25,000 feet of space in its office building at 120 West 45th Street, also known as Tower 45, RealEstateRama reported.

DeVry College of New York signed a 10-year lease expansion and extension for 19,397 square feet in the building, while Horton Point, an alternative investment manager, signed a new, five-year lease for 5,877 square feet. The landlord’s brokerage, Jones Lang LaSalle, announced the transactions yesterday.

SL Green was represented in both transactions by Jones Lang LaSalle’s Paul Glickman, Frank Doyle, Diana Biasotti, David Kleiner, and Jonathan Tootell. Devry was represented by Erica Rubenstein, a director with Newmark Knight Frank and Horton Point was represented by Jordan Mandel, a principal with the Vortex Group.

Other tenants at the office tower, located between Sixth and Seventh avenues, include D.E. Shaw & Co. and Scott Rudin Productions, according to SL Green’s website. Asking rents at the building range from $50 to $70 per square foot, according to SL Green’s listings. [RealEstateRama]
