Restaurant in Nolita condo to open in late summer
The Brewster restaurant in Nolita is aiming for an opening in late August, the New York Post reported.
The restaurant will occupy a total of 5,000 square feet of two floors of the restored Brewster Carriage House, a new condo at 177 Mott Street developed by Ross Morgan, which began sales in early November, as The Real Deal previously reported. Currently, a 6,164-square-foot penthouse in the same building that has its own roof terrace is asking $15.4 million.
Morgan, Craig Hopson, former executive chef of Le Cirque and Frank Roberts, former general manager of the Rose Bar in the Gramercy Park Hotel, are the leading figures behind the restaurant’s development, the Post wrote.
According to the Post, there are also plans to bring a small “farm to table” market to the development, which would offer flowers, juices, sandwiches and jams for sale. The market may open by the end of May. [Post, 1st item]
