Serafina restaurateur’s UES pad hits rental market

Serafina restaurant owner Vittorio Assaf and his wife have listed their Upper East Side apartment for $35,000 per month, the New York Post reported.

Reba Miller, senior managing director of sales at Core, has the listing for the unit in the Leonori building, at 26 East 63rd Street between Madison and Park avenues. According to both the Post and Streeteasy.com, the apartment has four bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms. The unit will be ready for move-in June 1.

Assaf, along with business partner Fabio Granato, own the Serafina Restaurant chain, which has eateries in New York City, White Plains, East Hampton, Philadelphia and Brazil.

The building itself dates back to 1901 and is Beaux-Arts in its design. According to the Post, the apartment has views of Central Park, as well as a 40-foot-long living room with fireplace, Venetian-plastered walls and a domed entry.
