Forest City Ratner and the Empire State Development Corporation must conduct an environmental impact study for its Atlantic Yards development time extension. Brownstoner reported that’s the decision of a New York State Appeals Court judge, who yesterday denied the final appeal of the developer and the ESDC.
Brownstoner said that this environmental survey would include a public hearing.
As previously reported, the ESDC had hoped that a third round of litigation would be the charm to overturn the rulings that required them to complete the study. Previous reports indicated that the rulings would not affect the Barclays Center and the development’s residential towers. [Brownstoner]
