It looks like soon-to-be newlyweds Alec Baldwin and Hilaria Thomas are in expansion mode. Baldwin’s yoga instructor fiancée has purchased a condo unit adjacent to Baldwin’s 4,137-square-foot pad on the 12th floor at the Devonshire, according public records filed with the city today.
Records show that Thomas, who is set to marry Baldwin on an undisclosed date in the near future, purchased the unit, #12C, for $1.21 million. The deal closed June 12. The apartment, located inside inside the prewar condo at 28 East 10th Street, is seemingly directly adjacent to a unit purchased by Baldwin last summer.
The specifics of the unit were not immediately clear, as the unit was not listed on Streeteasy.com.
The “30 Rock” star reportedly shelled out $11.7 million for the apartment, penthouse 12D, almost a million less than the $12.5 million asking price. His duplex, with three bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms, features a master bedroom suite that takes up an entire wing of the condo.
The building’s developer, Cheshire Group declined to comment on the sale of Thomas’ unit, while Stribling, the exclusive marketing and sales agent for the building, was not immediately available for comment.
According to the New York Post, Baldwin and Thomas are keeping their wedding plans quiet. Baldwin’s brother Stephen Baldwin told the newspaper that the couple was planning on texting the official plans to their A-list guests on the very day of their nuptials, which will reportedly be held in St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral in Nolita.
