Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are continuing their annual summer tradition of dropping six-figures on an East End rental. Real Estalker reported that the pair is renting the Peninsula, a private 1.9-acre bay front estate in the North Haven area of the Hamptons that features 650 feet of water frontage.
Located at 38 Ezekills Hollow Road, the estate boasts a 7,500-square-foot mansion with six bedrooms and six and a half bathrooms. The property’s most iconic feature is a 60-foot by 30-foot infinity edge waterside pool with floating day beds. While Carey and Cannon reportedly rented the home, it is also listed for sale by Susan Breitenbach and Matthew Breitenbach of the Corcoran Group with a $14.995 million asking price.
It is not clear how long their stay at the Peninsula will be, but confirmation of their stay came in the form of Instagram photos of the backyard posted by Cannon.
Reegardless, it’s not the couple’s first pricey foray into the Hamptons. Carey and Cannon famously spent $350,000 to rent Tommy Hilfiger’s former East Hampton estate on Further Lane for a month in 2007. The following year they spent $125,000 for a single week on eight acres in East Hampton known as the Stone Meadow Farm. [Real Estalker]
