A sneak peek at Sag Harbor’s Watchcase residences
While the launch of sales at the Watchcase Factory condo renovation in Sag Harbor is still months off, would-be buyers finally got a glimpse at the long awaited 64-unit development, courtesy of its new website today (see renderings above).
The property, which is on the site of the former Bulova Watchcase Factory in the Hamptons, will feature several different styles of residences, according to the website, including factory lofts, townhouses and bungalows. All will have outdoor space in the form of gardens, balconies or rooftop terraces. The factory lofts, residences within the original factory, will feature southern yellow pine timber beams and plank ceilings as well as exposed brick and stonework. The townhouses are inspired by 18th and 19th century houses populating the village of Sag Harbor and the bungalows will be one bedroom homes with a central landscaped courtyard. Prices have yet to be disclosed.
Corcoran Sunshine will be marketing the development, which was stalled in the late 2000s because of the global recession. Sales will begin in 2013. Cape Advisors is the developer of the project. – Katherine Clarke
