Brooklyn’s largest house and most expensive freestanding listing just got a little cheaper, according to Curbed. As The Real Deal previously reported, the 9,200-square-foot mansion, located at 2134 Ocean Parkway, bordering Gravesend and Sheepshead Bay, came on the market in May asking $14 million. Ryan Serhant, the NestSeekers senior vice president listing the property with colleagues Nick Jabbour, Alex Dietrich and Melvin Caro, has now reduced the asking price for the seven-bedroom, 6.5-bathroom home by 23 percent to $10.75 million.

The property features some rather unsubtle design, such as a “green terracotta style Spanish roof,” “multi-level art-nouveau staircase accented by artisan wrought iron panels finished with newel posts” and “living and dining spaces encapsulated by a barrel ceiling supported by decorative, candlestick lit sconces and accented by traditional wainscoting,” according to the listing. [Curbed] – Christopher Cameron
