A Hudson Yards rental building, the Mantena, was quietly nabbed by Sam Zell’s Equity Residential last week, the New York Post reported. The New York Knicks’ Iman Shumpert lives at the building.

The 98-unit building was sold by Joy Construction, which developed the Karl Fischer-designed project which opened earlier this year. The asking price in the deal, brokered by HFF’s Andrew Scandalios, was $90 million, though a final sale price was not yet known, the Post said.

The complex, at 431 West 37th Street between Ninth and Tenth avenues, is about 85 percent leased up, a source told the Post. [Post, 3rd item] Guelda Voien
