A prewar duplex at 730 Park Avenue, formerly owned by the late “60 Minutes” correspondent Mike Wallace, has hit the market asking $20 million, the New York Times reported. Wallace died in June at the age of 93, but his fourth wife, Mary Yates, continued to live in the apartment until her death in September at the age of 83.

The 12-room apartment, No. 15-16A unit is somewhat unique in the building because the majority of its original features, such as elaborate variegated plaster moldings and vintage cork flooring, have been preserved through the years. The apartment was designed by Lafayette A. Goldstone and F. Burrall Hoffman Jr. in 1929.

John Burger and Fritzi Kallop of Brown Harris Stevens have the listing. The monthly maintenance fee is steep: $8,822. [NYT]Christopher Cameron
