Architect Zaha Hadid of Zaha Hadid Architects may not have won the contest for the redevelopment of 425 Park Avenue, but she has another project currently under construction for a notable client outside of Moscow. Hadid has designed a 28,500-square-foot mansion for supermodel Naomi Campbell and her billionaire boyfriend Vladislav Doronin, Curbed reported.
As described on the project’s webpage, the house is divided into two components. One, the lower level, occupies a parcel of hillside forest ground. The other, a 65-foot-raised second level-slash-observation tower looks out to forest views. The raised level is designed to “extend the exterior topography to the interior of the building,” the site says.
Campbell also owns an eye-shaped eco mansion in Turkey and a Gothic palace in Venice. [Curbed] — Zachary Kussin
