The landmarked building at the corner of Montague and Clinton streets in Brooklyn Heights will be converted to condominiums, Brownstoner reported.
Currently a Chase Manhattan bank, 177 Montague Street will get a one-story addition and an overhaul to become 13 condos, according to the minutes of a recent land use committee meeting of Community Board Two, Brownstoner said.
Barry Rice Architects is in charge of the renovation; the matter is scheduled to be taken up by the Landmarks Preservation Commission this afternoon, according to Brownstoner. [Brownstoner] –Guelda Voien
