Apollo Global Management co-founder Marc Rowan and his wife Carolyn are continuing to eat up space at an exclusive white glove co-op at 927 Fifth Avenue. The couple, which owns a sixth-floor spread at the property as well as a commercial unit on the building’s first floor, has purchased the fifth floor of the building from Claire Edersheim for $26 million, according to public records filed with the city today.

Edersheim is the widow of financier Maurits Edersheim, who made his fortune at the defunct investment bank Drexel Burnham Lambert.

The deal for the fifth-floor spread, which does not appear to have been publicly listed, closed December 12, records show. It was not immediately clear if there had been a broker involved in the deal.

The apartment was reconfigured in 1970 by the architect Paul Rudolph, according to the RealEstalker, and features curving walls and views of Central Park.

As previously reported, the Rowans paid $7.7 million for a commercial space formerly occupied by plastic surgeon Robert Schwager in May 2012, adding to their spread on the sixth floor.

The Rowans were not immediately available for comment.
