$45M portfolio trade includes Gawker offices

The gossip blog Gawker has a new landlord, after a four building portfolio traded along Elizabeth Street in Nolita in a $45.2 million deal financed by Deutsche Bank.

Sources told the New York Observer that New Rochelle, N.Y.-based S.W. Management — run by Stanley Wasserman and his sons Alan and Mark — acquired four buildings from Ozi Management located at 198-200, 202, 204-206 and 208-210 Elizabeth Street.

Gawker has leased the top floor of the four-story 208-210 Elizabeth Street building — which includes 15,000 square feet of office space and 5,000 square feet of retail — for nearly five years.

The four-story 204-206 Elizabeth Street building features 15,000 square feet of office space, where the seller, Ozi Management is keeping an office. The other two properties — both six stories and total approximately 15,000 square feet — are mostly residential buildings. [NYO] –Christopher Cameron
