Following the record-breaking sale of an elegant 1875 Bedford-Stuyvesant three-unit brownstone for $1.34 million last month, another Bed-Stuy building is seeking prices better suited to nearby Clinton Hill. According to Brownstoner, a newly constructed multi-family building located at 360 Greene Avenue is asking $1.1 million.
Just blocks from Clinton Hill, the stark, no-frills building — also three units — generates about $5,355 a month in rent. And according to PropertyShark, the median price for properties of this size in the area is only $700,000.
If the four-bedroom, five-bathroom building, which is listed with Brooklyn Properties, sells at ask, it would not only be one of the pricier sales in the area but would be significant for a new building that lacks the neighborhood’s famous pre-war flourishes and that can only boast amenities such as a one-car garage, and a washer and dryer.
