Nearly 100,000 square feet of retail space has hit the market in a new mixed-use residential conversion project in Williamsburg, Curbed reported. The 92,000-square-foot space claims to offer the largest available floor plates and the largest contiguous retail area available in Williamsburg. The asking price is $50 per square foot.
A rendering of the conversion of old commercial space into a 183-unit luxury residential housing and office project reveals a long, glassy building located at 185 Wythe Avenue, between North 5th and North 6th streets, one block from the waterfront.
According to Curbed the renovation of the former industrial building is being carried out by a private REIT. The project is rumored to be “very, very green,” according to Curbed, but the precise details have been revealed. [Curbed] —Christoph
