House-hunters can work up quite a sweat, traipsing around trendy Manhattan neighborhoods in search of the Soho loft of their dreams. Luckily, there’s relief in sight. Town Residential’s new corner storefront at 337 West Broadway features what the brokerage is calling an “international water bar” — featuring bottled water from around the world.
The water bar, featuring brands like Bolle, Hildon, Voss, Perrier and Saratoga, is among the features of Town’s eighth office, which opened its doors today. Town sales and leasing co-directors Ari LeFauve and Lyon Porter will oversee the 35-agent office. LeFauve and Porter, who previously worked out of Town’s Flatiron location, joined the brokerage last spring from MNS.
The first floor of the 2,400-square-foot two-story space will serve as a common area with long single-slab tables and café-style seating, the firm said, while the upper floor will serve as office space.
The property, owned by the Zucker Organization, was built in 1885 and has historically been used as a restaurant space. Chef Frederick Lesort’s Jour et Nuit French bistro occupied the space in the 1990s before an Indian restaurant took over. It was last listed by Christopher Owles and Steve Rappaport of Sinvin Realty for $22,500 per month or $112 per square foot, according to listings website Agorafy.
Owles and Steve Rappaport represented the landlord in the deal for the space while Gregg Gropper and Jay Gilbert of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank represented Town in the transaction, which was completed last summer.
Town also has offices on the Upper East Side, in the West Village, the Flatiron District, the Financial District, Astor Place and in Midtown.
