$22.5M UES condo penthouse tops this week's list

Roger Erickson at Sotheby’s International Realty has the week’s priciest listing — a duplex condominium penthouse with a $22.5 million ask. The unit is located inside the Leonori at 26 East 63rd Street at Madison Avenue. There are four bedrooms, five bathrooms and 11-foot ceilings, according to Streeteasy.com.

Farther uptown at 995 Fifth Avenue, the former Stanhope hotel, is where this week’s second priciest listing is located. Laurie Silverman of Halstead Property has the $12.5 million listing for a three-bedroom home, which could be reconfigured into a four-bedroom. This cond-op unit also has 4.5 bathrooms, three custom closets in the master suite — two are walk-in — as well as mahogany wood flooring and coffered ceilings. The apartment is owned by the former chief operating officer at Barclays Bank, Jerry del Missier, as The Real Deal reported.

The week’s third priciest listing is located at 116 East 61st Street between Park and Lexington avenues, where Douglas Elliman’s Dolly Lenz and Eric Friedberg have a $12.495 million townhouse listing. The master bedroom suite spans one of the property’s five floors and includes a gas fireplace and a bathroom with white Thassos marble. The home has a total of three bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. Other amenities include a roof terrace, custom plaster moldings and an elevator.

The week’s least expensive listing, which has a $199,000 asking price, is located uptown at 501 West 123rd Street near Amsterdam Avenue. Johnnie Gilbert at Klara Madlin has the listing for the renovated studio co-op unit. The apartment features wood flooring and an eat-in kitchen.

Nancy Rapp at Halstead Property has the week’s second cheapest listing — a Yorkville studio co-op located at 435 East 85th Street between York and First avenues. The asking price for this unit is $210,000. According to the listing, the home needs some work, but has plank hardwood flooring and 10-foot ceilings.

The third cheapest listing has an asking price of $215,000. Located at 579 West 215th Street near Seaman Avenue in Inwood, this co-op home has one bedroom and one bathroom. It’s listed by Sidney Whelan and Reginald Grayson, also of Halstead, who say the home is move-in ready. —Zachary Kussin
