“A deal has been reached between David and The Archer Hotel. David is very excited to be part of this new project,” a spokesperson for Burke told the Post.

The  Midtown South property, at 45 West 38th Street, is designed by Peter Poon Architects and Glen Coben of Glen & Co. Architecture. The 21-story, 180-room hotel is scheduled to open next spring

In 2011, the Archer New York site was picked up by Witchita, Kan.-based LodgeWorks for $15.6 million. Rooms will cost roughly $350 per night. LodgeWorks has developed more than 120 hotels valued at more than $2 billion across the U.S., and is working on a 116-room Hampton Inn in Downtown Brooklyn. [NYP]Christopher Cameron
