Town Residential has opened a new office located at 530 LaGuardia Place in Greenwich Village, marking its eighth location in New York City, the firm said today.
“It gives us a fuller foothold Downtown, where we’re doing extremely well,” CEO Andrew Heiberger told Crain’s, which first reported the news.
The two-level space measures 4,340 square feet and will seat 65 brokers. The space will also house Town’s listings department, according to the firm’s release.
Sales and leasing co-directors Ari LeFauve and Lyon Porter are overseeing operations there. The duo also manage the brokerage’s Soho location at 337 West Broadway, which opened in January and features an “international water bar.” Town also has nearby locations in the West Village at 45 Horatio Street and in Astor Place.
The newest space was previously a New York University bookstore. The NYU 2031 expansion will take place across the street, Crain’s said. Town will have a real estate library located on the lower level of this office. The hope is that NYU Schack Institute for Real Estate professors will host lectures and courses there, Crain’s said.
