Times Square Construction & Development has changed its plans for 325 Lexington Avenue yet again, Curbed reported. Initially, the developer intended to build a 31-story mixed-use structure with 103 units, plus a restaurant and bar on the ground floor.

At the time, renderings from architecture firm Studio Dror showed a sleek modern building composed of stacked glass boxes.

However, new plans call for a 25-story building with only 75 condos. Architect H. Thomas O’Hara — who is now in charge of the design — will trade in the glass boxes for a street-facing “glass curtain wall.” Additionally, the latest design includes commercial space on the lower level, a fitness center and a duplex penthouse.

Construction resumed in December after starting and stopping intermittently since 2008. Internal structural components of the building are almost complete, Curbed said, but a portion of the structure’s roof still needs to be completed. [Curbed] –Evan Bleier
