Three condominium sales at the same 120-unit Williamsburg building have broken neighborhood price-per-square-foot records, Crain’s reported. The sales — two of which closed this week and one of which will close next week — happened at 60 Broadway, also known as the Gretsch Building.

Two adjacent two-bedroom units sold for $1.4 million and $1.5 million. Meanwhile, a larger two-bedroom the floor above will close next week for $2.5 million, Crain’s said. Broken down, the units averaged $1,150 per square foot. This is a far cry above the building’s own average of $750 and the neighborhood average of $794 per square foot. This is also above the average at the waterfront Northside Piers, which is $1,050 per foot.

Arina Yakobi of Douglas Elliman handled the sales, which were all-cash deals.

“It’s unbelievable what’s going on out there,” she told Crain’s.
