Disgraced architect Robert Scarano has reemerged as a “consulting conservationalist” for an environmental conservation company called Bright ‘n’ Green, Curbed reported.
Scarano, charged with making false or misleading statements on Department of Buildings documents in 2008, graduated from a Pratt training course in sustainable building and management two years ago.
Bright ‘n’ Green’s Facebook page, as a tipster noted to Curbed, identifies Scarano as a “consulting conservationalist.” The ex-architect also popped up at the Brooklyn Real Estate Summit on May 9, where he spoke about green technologies.
Scarano lost an appeal on a decision forbidding him from filing any building documents last year, around which time one of his oversized projects was dismantled. [Curbed] –Julie Strickland
