Angelo Gordon, the investment firm located at 245 Park Avenue between East 46th and East 47th streets, is expanding, Crain’s reported.
The expansion, which will give the company the entire 24th and 25th floors of the 45-story office tower, will add a net 50,000 square feet and bring the total space to about 110,000 square feet.
The deal aims to accommodate Angelo Gordon’s growth and align the company’s floors in a contiguous stack, Jerry Larkin, a senior executive at Brookfield Properties, the building’s landlord, told Crain’s.
The deal was arranged directly with Angelo Gordon and will expire in 2026. A leasing team from Newmark Grubb Knight Frank led by New York area president David Falk and broker Peter Shimkin are handling leasing at the tower on behalf of Brookfield. [Crain’s] –Julie Strickland
