Toll Brothers is setting up a sales office for its Pier 1 condominium development in Brooklyn Bridge Park on the ground floor of St. George Tower in Brooklyn Heights, a tipster told the Brooklyn Heights Blog.
Once home to a pizza joint and rumored to be the future home of noted Park Slope café the Tea Lounge, the space at the corner of Clark and Hicks streets has been vacant for nearly seven years.
The space will undergo a complete renovation before Toll Brothers, which is developing the project with Starwood Capital and handling marketing in-house, takes up residence, David von Spreckelsen, senior vice president at Toll Brothers, told The Real Deal.
The sales office is expected to open in late September, he said.
The development will have one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom units ranging from $900,000 to over $5 million, as previously reported. The property is to include 110 units in total, spanning between 1,200 and 4,200 square feet.
In addition to amenities such as a fitness center, kids’ playroom and residents’ lounge, residents will have preferred access to certain services at the adjacent 192-room hotel. The perks will include privileged access to the hotel spa, restaurants and banquet space. [Brooklyn Heights Blog] –Julie Strickland
