Rentals in demand: West Village, two-bedrooms

The West Village was the most in-demand neighborhood for tenants looking for a rental apartment in Manhattan in the last week, according to data from apartment listings website Zumper.

Rounding out the top five of neighborhoods getting the most heat were, in order, the Upper East Side, Chelsea, Gramercy and the Upper West Side, the data show. The East Village led the pack the prior week, but did not make the list this time. Of the top five, only the Upper East Side cracked it two weeks in a row.
