Blackhouse Development’s West Chelsea luxury condominiums will feature premium amenities such as private pools and extra-high ceilings to lure high-end buyers, DNAinfo reported.
The Soori High Line, rising at 522 West 29th Street, is designed by Singaporean architectural firm SCDA and will feature 27 condos with 18-foot ceilings and each with its own private, in-apartment pool, a Blackhouse spokesperson told DNAinfo. Blackhouse is building the 11-story property in partnership with Singapore-based developer Oriel.
And down the block at 534 West 29th Street, the Casa Bella Artes, designed by Workshop/apd, will offer six condos overlooking the High Line. The building will include 12-to-16-foot ceilings specifically designed to allow owners to showcase their art and sculpture collections, the spokesperson added.
Prices in both buildings are yet to be determined.
With the condo projects — slated to be completed in 2016 – Blackhouse is looking to “change the narrative of real estate development in New York,” Sean Ludwick, a partner at Blackhouse, told DNAinfo. [DNAinfo] – Hiten Samtani
