TOWN Residential’s workforce in the Crown Building at 730 Fifth Avenue and 57th Street is jumping from 52 to 85 sales representatives, and the growing team will expand from the current 5,500 square feet it occupies to cover the entire 10,000-square-foot space.
The corporate office, consisting of corporate staff, marketing, public relations representatives and lawyers, currently occupies the additional square footage and will relocate to another office. The details of that move will be announced next week.
“We are thrilled to be in the position to expand our Eastside footprint by over 35 desks and six new private offices for our best-in-class producers,” said Andrew Heiberger, founder and CEO of TOWN, in the release. “Our presence on the Eastside will grow by over 25 percent.”
TOWN moved into the eighth floor of the Crown Building in May 2011. The firm has seven additional offices, with locations in the Flatiron District, Financial District, Astor Place, Upper East Side, Soho, West Village and Greenwich Village.
The brokerage, which plucked Key Ventures’ luxury broker Beverly Cole just last week, attributed the expansion to the firm’s growth and the desire of many top brokers to be based out of the Fifth Avenue office.
“We have had many top brokers say they want to work here but needed private offices – well, now we have them!” Dennis Cusack, a TOWN sales director, said in the release. — Julie Strickland
