Winston Churchill’s granddaughter has put her Soho loft on the market asking just shy of $11 million. Edwina Sandy’s 6,500-square-foot loft at 565 Broadway in Soho’s Cast-Iron Historic District has five bedrooms and five-plus bathrooms and boasts marble floors as well as a 1,500-square-foot mezzanine accessed by two staircases.
The apartment — where Sandy has lived for the last 18 years and practiced as an artist — is sprinkled with paintings that she made of her grandfather – possibly history’s most revered statesman.
Douglas Elliman’s Gabrielle Frank and Eric Liebman have the listing, according to the New York Post. Sandys and her husband bought the loft for $950,000 in 1995 and will be shifting their primary home to Florida’s Palm Beach. [NYP] – Hiten Samtani
