Leasing at the Williamsburg rental conversion at 50 North 5th Street is launching Saturday, according to Aptsandlofts.com, which is heading up marketing. The reserve list for the seven-story, 229-unit development near Kent Avenue has about 1,000 appointments scheduled starting over the weekend.
Monthly rents start at $2,600 for a studio, $3,000 for a one-bedroom and $4,500 for a two-bedroom. Penthouse two-bedrooms units are at least $7,000 a month.
Mack Real Estate Capital Group and Urban Development Partners developed the property, which was formerly a warehouse that housed the Western Carpet Company, as previously reported.
The 248,000-square-foot building will feature a mix of studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments, some of which will have private terraces. It also contains a basketball court, bocce ball court, two-floor gym, billiard room and courtyard with a waterfall, the release said. — Mark Maurer
