Three-year-old Town Residential is opening its tenth office in the Meatpacking District. The new digs at 446 West 14th Street, for which Town has signed a 15-year deal, span the entire 7,100-square-foot second floor of the three-story building.
The space brings the brokerage easy access to residential neighborhoods lining the Hudson and boasts hip features like 16-foot ceilings and access to a private roof deck.
“We believe it’s the only brokerage with an outdoor space for brokers to work and meet with clients,” Andrew Heiberger, who founded Town in 2010, told Crain’s. “This is the kind of space that really differentiates us from other firms.”
Heiberger told Crain’s that the boutique brokerage Thomas & Ingram will be joining Town in the new Meatpacking location.
Town opened an eighth office at 530 LaGuardia Place in Greenwich Village in April and a ninth — to be the firm’s headquarters — at 33 Irving Place last month. [Crain’s] — Julie Strickland
