The Beastie Boys’ Adam Horovitz, aka Ad-Rock, picked up a two-bedroom, three-bathroom co-op in Chelsea for $2.95 million, according to city records.

The 2,500-square-foot loft at 129 West 22nd Street, between Sixth and Seventh avenues, hit the market for the same price in April. BJ Engler, Peter Denby and Julia Boland of Halstead Property had the listing.

The 10th-floor loft has 11-foot-high ceilings and oak floors. The building was conceived as a sewing factory in 1909.

Horovitz used to live in a Soho townhouse at 186 Spring Street, until he sold it to developer Stephane Boivin last year for $5.5 million. Boivin, who is developing a mixed-use condominium project there, is facing a $5.6 million foreclosure suit by an investment firm that claims he demolished the property without permission, as previously reported.
