Sagaponack mansion trades for $15.5M; ask had been $17.95M

A seven-bedroom new construction mansion in Sagaponack sold for $15.5 million, The Real Deal has learned.

Alan Schnurman of Saunders & Associates brokered the deal for the George Gavalas-developed 10,000-square-foot home at 376 Daniels Lane, which sits on 1.5 acres. Schurman could not identify the family that made the buy.

The home boasts 12 bathrooms, a pool and a tennis court. It was listed for $17.95 million, according to Saunders’ website.

A block from the beach, the manse also has a private drive, a gambrel house and a “state-of-the-art” kitchen designed by famed kitchen specialist Christopher Peacock.

Schnurman, a former attorney, signed on with the Bridgehampton-based residential brokerage only last year after retiring from law.
