Have well shy of a million dollars yet fancy living on Central Park? A co-op studio at 80 Central Park West that hit the market asking $748,000 could be your answer. The 600-square-foot apartment on the 21st floor of the building is the only sub-million-dollar home on the park strip south of the American Museum of Natural History.

The apartment is being marketed by Nest Seekers International broker and “Million Dollar Listing New York” star Ryan Serhant, the New York Daily News reported.

“Brand new fixtures in a classic New York building like this, at a classic New York address, it’s so hard to find, and never at this price,” Serhant told the Daily News. The apartment was originally listed at $925,000 in May, according to the newspaper.

The average asking price for an apartment on Central Park West is $7 million, according to StreetEasy. [NYDN] — Hiten Samtani
