From the South Florida site: The “Million Dollar Listing” world just got a little less exclusive. The Miami real estate market has been invited to join the reality TV show franchise’s ranks with a new series, Bravo said.
“‘Million Dollar Listing New York,’ ‘Los Angeles’ and now ‘Miami’ are distinctive shows,” Shari Levine, Bravo’s senior vice president of current production and original programming, told Variety. “The other shows are not as glamorous, and the personalities of the agents are not as large and fun. It’s really about the characters within the shows, along with the real estate you’re seeing, and the storytelling.”
“Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles,” which premiered in 2006, is expected to get a seventh season. Its New York counterpart was renewed for a third season, Variety said. [Variety] — Mark Maurer
