Looking to raise the bar for penthouse condominium prices Downtown, a duplex at the Residences at the Ritz-Carlton in Battery Park City is asking $56.5 million.
The 7,500-square-foot, 12-room unit at 10 West Street features a rooftop hot tub, fireplace and full bar, Curbed reported. There are five bedrooms, five full bathrooms and five half-baths. It appears the condo was initially two separate units that changed hands in 2006 for a total of $8.1 million.
By comparison, the luxurious 6,000-square-foot Penthouse One at the JDS Development and Property Markets Group’s Walker Tower hit the market last month for $55 million.
Platinum Realty Group brokers Julie Kang, Matthew Gros-Werter and Steven Forkosh have the listing.
Real estate investment company Millennium Partners, a developer of luxury mixed-use properties, is seeking a buyer for the 335,000-square foot, 298-room hotel, as The Real Deal reported last month. [Curbed] — Mark Maurer
