Taconic Investment Partners has found a buyer for the first penthouse at the Sterling Mason in Tribeca, the developer told The Real Deal exclusively.
The luxe digs went for a whopping $21 million, or $4,565 per square foot. Boasting panoramic Hudson River views and a landscaped, 3,500-square-foot wraparound terrace, Penthouse A first hit the market back in July.
All three penthouses in the building include large terraces, fireplaces and entertaining space, and are designed by Gachot.
Douglas Elliman’s new development division, including brokers Reid Price and Bruce Ehrmann, is handling sales at the building.
It was not immediately apparent whether the buyer was Leonardo DiCaprio, who reportedly scoped out the penthouse units at the Sterling Mason during the summer. — Julie Strickland
