Top consulting firm Bain & Co. is trading Times Square for Bryant Park. Bain’s New York team will move next year from the Thomson Reuters building, at 3 Times Square, to a nearly-100,000-square-foot space in Brookfield Office Properties’ Grace Building, at 1114 Sixth Avenue.
“We have been looking for a while,” Bill Neuenfeldt, head of Bain’s New York office, told the Wall Street Journal. The new space will accommodate Bain’s fast-growing local staff as well as those visiting from other offices, Neuenfeldt told the newspaper.
The space is spread out over three consecutive upper floors of the 49-story tower, CBRE’s John Maher, who brokered the deal on behalf of Bain, told the Journal. Asking rents for the upper floors in the tower are $100 per square foot, according to the newspaper. [WSJ, 1st item] – Hiten Samtani
