A former Pentecostal church at 541 Leonard Street in Greenpoint has given way to some of North Brooklyn’s most expensive homes.

The three loft-style apartments, each with three bedrooms, hit the market earlier this week and range in cost from $2.3 million to $2.5 million. The smallest unit spans 1,900 square feet and the largest has a 2,900-square-foot sprawl.

Largest on offer is the building’s first floor unit, a duplex with a basement rec room, while the top apartment boasts two terraces. Many of the church’s original details have also been preserved, including the original wooden crossbeams in the top-floor unit, two spires, arched windows and high windows that never dip below 16 feet.

“Even the lofts in Williamsburg, they’re pretty raw,” Deborah Rieders, the Corcoran Group broker who is listing the properties along with Sarah Shuken, told the New York Daily News. “The finishes here are unparalleled.” [NYDN] and [Curbed]Julie Strickland
