Astoria developer Criterion Group sold two high-end rental buildings in the neighborhood for a total of $60 million.
The two eight-story properties are 30-50 21st Street and 11-15 Broadway, which contain 65 units and 80 units, respectively, Real Estate Weekly reported. The latter building launched leasing in 2011 with only one-bedroom units, all of which were equipped with Bosch washer/dryers. All units were leased by the spring. Both buildings feature a roof deck, 24-hour doorman, fitness center and on-site parking.
The buyer was not disclosed.
Cushman & Wakefield brokers Karen Wiedenmann, Brian Szczapa, Gideon Gil, Helen Hwang and Nat Rockett represented the seller for both buildings. [REW] — Mark Maurer
