Boston Properties disclosed last week during a third-quarter earnings call that it was in negotiations to lease up to 250,000 square feet of the tower’s 1 million square feet but declined to name tenants; the real estate investment trust already has tenants for about 500,000 square feet, Crain’s reported.

Al Jazeera has been searching for a U.S. headquarters since earlier this year, and has considered several spaces such as the former New York Times building at 229 West 43rd Street. [Crain’s]  – Hiten Samtani
