The international law firm Jones Day has finally made a long rumored move from Midtown to 4 Brookfield Place. On Saturday the firm signed a 20-year lease for 330,000 square feet on the 27th through 34th floors of the building formerly known as the World Financial Center.
The 1.8 million square-foot, 34-story tower is currently seeing its lobby completely renovated, in addition to a $250 million retail repositioning, which spans the entire 8 million-square-foot Brookfield Place project, according to the New York Post.
“We are glad that Jones Day recognized the new aesthetics along with the dining, shopping and transit options coming to Brookfield Place that will make it as attractive to its employees as their new offices,” Brookfield Office Properties CEO Dennis Friedrich said. [NYP] –Christopher Cameron
